The Total Mobility scheme is a national scheme supporting people who cannot use public transport to travel, either all or some of the time.

In Auckland, eligible participants get a subsidised rate on contracted taxis for door-to-door transport. They also get AT’s accessible concession loaded onto their Total Mobility AT HOP card, which they can use to get discounted fares on public transport.

Total Mobility customers get 75% off taxi fares, up to a maximum of $80 per trip. For trips over $80, Auckland Transport will only pay a maximum of $60.

Senior citizens can travel for free on AT trains and selected bus and ferry services. Offer applies after 9am on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. You must have an AT HOP card loaded with a SuperGold concession.
